Nobody knows what time is like, for we cannot see it, nor can we touch it.Time is abstract, which we can only imagine in our mind.
But we do know that time passes very quickly. Some students, however, donot know the value of time, nor do they know how to make the best use of it, forthey waste it in going to films, playing games and doing other useless things.Why do we go to school early in the morning? Why do trains run so fast? Why domost people prefer taking buses instead of walking? The answer is very simple:we wish to save time because time is precious.
Today we are living in the twentieth century. We know that time is life.When a person dies, his time has ended. Since life is short, we must devote ourtime and energy to our studies so that we may be able to serve our country andthe people. But since time is invisible, we often neglect it. Lazinss. is thethief of time, for lasiness not only brings us a lot of harm, it also brings usfailure. If it is necessary for us to do some work today, let us do it today andnot leave it until tomorrow. Remember that time is more valuable than money.

jan bought this the first time we went to new york, at least 8 or 9 years ago. she never wore it. she was saving it for a special occasion.
well, i guess this is the occasion.
he took the slip from me and put it on the bed, with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. his hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me, dont ever save anything for a special occasion. every day you re alive is a special occasion.

Since time is so precious, how can we make the most of it?In my point ofview, judgment and efficiency are the two key ingredients. It is vital to have asense of judgment. Whenever you are to make a decision, you should weigh thepros and cons. Therefore , it is much less possible to be regretful, thus avoidwasting time. And if you are sure you make the right decision, just jump on itand be decisive. Meanwhile, efficiency is also important. Being efficient meansyou are more productive than others. In this way, you are more competitive. Aslongs as you can entirely concentrate on the work you are doing, you willnaturally get your efficiency improved.
As the saying goes, ‘ Time and tide wait for no man’ . Always bear in heartthat time is precious but really limited. So it is wise of you to make carefularrangement of your time.

Sincc I entered college I have felt a great burden off my mind and I justwant to relax.I did too many meaningless things to kill my time, such as playingcomputer games, watching TV, or gossiping. When i do these things, the time haslong been unwittingly flowed away. I seldom work on my lessons unless there isan examination. Then i work under pressure. I know it is not good, but what Ilack is self control.I know it is a problem, and it is time i did somethingabout it.
In my opinion, the best way to make full use of time is planning your timerationally and sticking the plan firmly. Spending more time on somethingsignificant not only will make your life fulfilling, but also will give you asense of accomplishment. Instead, killing your time with meaningless thingswould bring you depression even despair. Remember that those who abandon timewill be also abandoned by time.
As youth, we are in the prime of our life. We should make good use of ourgolden time. The teachers take pains to teach us every day so that we canacquire more knowledge. We study in the university and spending money that ourparents work hard to earn .Parents hope we can learn knowledge in theuniversity. We should not fail their expectations. I should not rest contentwith what I have done. Entering cnllege is just a step in the threshold of thepalace of knowledge. The road is long. The modern age needs the well educated.The future world is highly competitive. If we idle away our time while young woshall regret it in vain when we are did.
Therefore, we should cherish it and spend it in meaningful things.
Time waits for no one. If it flows away, it will never come to us again. Wecan't take charge of our time but we should know the importance of time andcherish time.

Now we are young, we have so many things to do. Youth time is like a happy bird. If it flew away, it would never return. Nothing is more important than time.
Today some students spend too much time enjoying their lives such as eating, clothing, traveling and so on. Others spend too much time reading some useless books. A lot of time has been wasted. They have no idea that waste of time means wasting of one’s life.
