In capacity as Professor of Mathematics at Fudan University?I'm writing to recommend Mr.
Wang?Gesintosyour PhD program in Computer Science.
I have known Mr.Wang since his sophomore year of college?and have acted as his thesis advisor and mentor.
In my experience?he is a gifted and diligent student?and an admirably hard worker.
Wang is an impressive student because he has been forced to overcome the significant challenge of a serious illness during his freshman year.
When I first met Wang in my Discrete Math class?he did not appear to be anything special to me.
While his exam scores were good?they were not as high as I would now expect of him.
What I didn't know then was that due to his illness?Wang was attempting to take all of the difficult early mathematics courses at one time?including Discrete Mathematics?Advanced Mathematics?Linear Algebra?and Possibilities.
While most students found preparing for just one set of these exams difficult?Wang was overwhelmed by four of them.

Mr.Wang and I have often talked about a variety of mathematics and computer science concepts and problems.
During these discussions?I always found him to be delightfully intelligent.
Not only does he quickly understand the concepts and problems presented to him?he is able to analyze these problems and present solutions.
But perhaps most important is that Wang's thinking is intensely rigorous.
When looking at any question?he carefully scrutinizes it and if he finds any uncertain issues?he clears them up immediately.

In his senor thesis?Mr.Wang mainly discussed two challenging questions in regards to″ANN″.
In our books in China?knowledge of ANN and its uses are very rare.
Few people in China have studied this topic and consequently?the materials that are available on ANN are limited.
Working on this difficult project?not only did Mr.Wang rise to the challenge?but he went above and beyond the call of duty to analyze his secondary sources and test them for accuracy in practice.
In this way?he found mistakes in the book that we use.
His diligence and hard work made me extremely proud of him.

我還參加了許多社會實踐活動。小學(xué)時參加各種課外的活動，有的是到外地演出，培養(yǎng)了自立能力，初中是在遼寧省實驗中學(xué)初中部住校學(xué)習(xí)，更鍛煉了自己的獨立生活，以及與人和睦相處解決問題的能力，使我的綜合素質(zhì)得到更好的提高。學(xué)校較為重視英語學(xué)習(xí)，我曾在校自導(dǎo)自演了一部英語話劇，并代表班級在校藝術(shù)禮堂表演。高中時參加學(xué)校組織的義賣，到街上賣報紙，賣的錢都悉數(shù)捐給了盲人老高。同時我在學(xué)校的學(xué)生會中得到了許多組織學(xué)校大型活動的機會，如運動會，成人禮，藝術(shù)節(jié)，高考壯行會，升旗儀式等活動，這些活動充分鍛煉了自己的溝通協(xié)調(diào)能力和組織能力。還有社區(qū)組織的義賣，賣書所賺的錢也捐給殘疾人，盡一份自己的力量。和給農(nóng)民子弟小學(xué)的孩子義務(wù)教課，幫助他們學(xué)習(xí)。通過這些活動，使我的身心得到洗滌，同時也感受到了團隊合作的魅力和獲得成功時的喜悅，我覺得自己是那樣的幸運和幸福能夠在短短的校園時光中收獲如此之多。
我的理想是做一名設(shè)計師，可以充分發(fā)揮自己的想法，表現(xiàn)自己的創(chuàng)意，創(chuàng)造自己的風(fēng)格。我具有較強的語言功底，學(xué)一門小語種，出國做中文老師 （國際漢語言教育）也是一個不錯的選擇期待著高考錄取通知書發(fā)放的那一天，我會收到來自貴校的開啟人生與智慧的金鑰匙！

A、推薦信的概念
推薦信是向有關(guān)單位或個人推薦有關(guān)人才的專用書信。
推薦信可以是個人寫給個人，個人寫給單位或單位寫給單位。推薦信一般是由第三者寫給對方，也有向某單位、部門自薦的。
B、推薦信的結(jié)構(gòu)、寫法
推薦信一般包括稱謂、正文、結(jié)尾、落款和日期幾部分。
稱謂
第一行頂格寫收信單位的名稱或個人的姓名，個人姓名后可加“先生”、“經(jīng)理”等，再加上冒號。
正文
第二行前空兩格寫正文。一般包括：
(1)被推薦者的基本情況，包括姓名、性別、年齡、業(yè)務(wù)水平、工作能力、身體狀況等。
(2)說明推薦的理由。要求寫得具體、充分。另外還要寫明推薦者和推薦者的關(guān)系。
推薦信一般是第三者寫的，也有自我推薦信。寫自薦信要客觀全面地評價自己，要求如實地介紹自己的優(yōu)點，客觀的敘述自薦的理由，以便供有關(guān)人員參考。
結(jié)尾
用“此致敬禮”、“祝工作順利”等語，表達問候之意。
落款和日期
在右下方署上姓名，姓名之前可以加上工作單位。署名的下方寫上具體時間。
C、推薦信的寫作要求
應(yīng)如實地介紹情況，讓用人單位對被薦者能有比較全面的了解。
語氣要誠肯。既不可自高自大，又不可卑躬屈膝。
